i have these options for you :
- Buy an external hardisk and make it dedicated for backup.
Or:
- Upload your backup to Gmail (free)
Or:
- Upload your backup to internet (i can assist you in this)
a main point here is that if you ever keep a backup outside your pc then password-protect it so nobody would spy or use your files without your permission.
well Ala', i hate external hard disks
how can I backup to gmail? u mean as attachments?
how can I uploadthem to the internet? do u suggest a specific site as humyo?
of course it should be protected with a password!
to backup using Gmail you need to use a Gmail Drive software, follow the steps mentioned at http://www.bloghash.com/2006/11/gmail-upload-and-store-files-in-google-mail/
or at http://www.engadget.com/2005/03/01/how-to-use-your-gmail-account-as-a-personal-file-server
one drawback is that the Max file size per file is 10 MB.
The other option , storing your files on the internet is simple .. drop me an email and i will reply with a special log in for you to store your files on my server.
Thanks Ala' 4 ur help
always welcome mam :-)
